The course itself is both lively and demanding and introduces officers to the British academic tradition. During their stay in the UK, course participants will engage in debate, learn how to make effective presentations, and develop advanced writing, reading and study skills. They will also considerably expand and activate their vocabulary in the areas of international relations, and defence and security policy through exposure to lectures and DVD recordings on a wide range of contemporary world issues.
